The three children of late Black Stars footballer,Christian Atsu have poured out a heartwarming tribute to their father who who is perhaps laid to rest instantly Friday March 17, 2023.
In the emotional tribute, the children acknowledged they could miss their father for the love he has confirmed them for who that they had been and accepting them for what they’re striving to grow to be.
Christian Atsu tragically died in a devastating earthquake in February after being trapped throughout the rubble for over each week.
Atsu’s two sons and daughter expressed their love for his or her father, stating that he always accepted and beloved them.
The children wrote that “We missed you, dad. You loved us for who we were and accepted us for who we were striving to become. You always made us smile and filled us with strength. Your strength gave us a sense of protection and love. Now that you are in heaven, we know that you will continue to protect us. Thanks for being our dad. We will always love and miss you. Rest well, dad.”
The former Chelsea and Newcastle United man is perhaps buried in his hometown of Dogobome.
